- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- If using fresh spinach, sauté briefly until wilted; cool slightly.
- In a bowl, mix spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Fill each shell with spinach mixture and place in the dish.
