Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. If using fresh spinach, sauté briefly until wilted; cool slightly.
  4. In a bowl, mix spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
  6. Fill each shell with spinach mixture and place in the dish.
  7. Spoon remaining sauce over the shells.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden.
  10. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
