  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice dairy or plant-based
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes optional
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves plus extra sprigs for garnish

Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries.
  2. Peel and slice the banana.
  3. Add the strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, mint leaves, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a blender.
  4. Add the ice cubes if using.
  5. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  7. Blend again for a few seconds if additional sweetener is added.
  8. Pour the smoothie into serving glasses.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and a sliced strawberry.
  10. Serve immediately while cold.
