  1. Prepare the Dough
  2. In a mixer bowl, combine flour, yeast, and sugar.
  3. Add olive oil, warm water, and salt.
  4. Knead for 7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  5. Transfer dough to a lightly floured bowl, turning to coat lightly with flour.
  6. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and place in a warm area.
  7. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Make the Tomato Sauce
  9. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  10. Add diced tomatoes and garlic; cook for a few minutes.
  11. Stir in sugar, salt, oregano, basil, and tomato paste.
  12. Cook for 1 additional minute, then remove from heat and let cool.
  13. Shape the Dough
  14. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface.
  15. Knead briefly 3-5 times until smooth.
  16. Divide into 1 large or 2 medium dough balls.
  17. Shape using hands or a rolling pin.
  18. Assemble & Bake
  19. Top dough with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and desired toppings.
Pizza Oven:
  1. Bake at high heat for 3-5 minutes, until crust and cheese are golden.
Regular Oven:
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) (pizza stone recommended).
  2. Bake for 15 minutes, until crust and cheese are golden.
