Garlic bread baked until golden and fragrant. A simple Let’s Veg recipe perfect for pasta nights, soups, and shared meals.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread sliced in half lengthwise
  • ½ cup butter softened (or olive oil)
  • 3-4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan optional

Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Spread garlic butter evenly over cut sides of bread.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan if using.
  5. Place bread on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden and butter is bubbling.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crisp edges
Make vegan with olive oil or plant-based butter
Add herbs like oregano or basil for variation
