- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
- In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
- Spread garlic butter evenly over cut sides of bread.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan if using.
- Place bread on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden and butter is bubbling.
- Slice and serve warm.
