  • lb bok choy trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper or white pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced garlic and fry gently until golden and crisp. Remove garlic and set aside.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and add bok choy to the same oil.
  4. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until stems are tender-crisp and leaves are wilted.
  5. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Toss well.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and top with fried garlic. Serve immediately.
