- If using dried laminaria, soak in cold water for 10-15 minutes until tender. Rinse and slice thinly.
- Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Blanch laminaria for 1-2 minutes, then drain and cool.
- In a bowl, whisk sesame oil, vinegar or lemon juice, soy sauce, sugar, and ginger.
- Add laminaria and toss gently to coat.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
