Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Place sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat. Stir for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Soften the kale
  3. Add chopped kale to a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Massage with your hands for about 1 minute until the leaves darken and soften.
  4. Add lemon juice (or vinegar), honey if using, and black pepper. Toss gently.
  5. Sprinkle in toasted almonds and dried cranberries. Toss once more and taste adjust seasoning if needed.
