Ingredients
  

  • 12 falafel balls homemade or store-bought
  • 4 pita breads or flatbreads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • ½ cucumber sliced
  • Tahini Sauce
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Water as needed
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Warm falafel according to package instructions or reheat homemade falafel.
  2. Warm pita breads slightly so they’re soft and pliable.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and enough water to make a pourable sauce.
  4. Fill each pita with falafel, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
  5. Drizzle generously with tahini sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.
