Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly.
  3. Spread the chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel and pat them completely dry.
  4. Transfer the chickpeas to a large bowl and toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, regular paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
  7. Add the minced fresh garlic and toss carefully.
  8. Return to the oven and roast for another 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow the chickpeas to cool for several minutes; they will become crispier as they cool.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve.
