Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter or plant-based butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk or plant-based milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions.
  3. Drain and set aside.
  4. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Slowly add milk while whisking continuously.
  7. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  8. Stir in cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  9. Combine cheese sauce with macaroni and transfer to a baking dish.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbling. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
