Cooking Instructions
- Prepare the Mushrooms
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean mushrooms and gently remove stems.
- Place caps on a baking sheet.
- Make the Filling
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook 4–5 minutes until soft.
- Add garlic and chopped mushroom stems; cook 2–3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in breadcrumbs, cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the Mushrooms
- Spoon filling into each mushroom cap, pressing gently.
- Bake
- Bake 20–25 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and tops are lightly golden.
- Serve
- Serve warm as an appetizer or side.
