- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
- Season the Squash
- Place cubed squash in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Toss well to coat evenly.
- Spread squash in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast 30–35 minutes, flipping once halfway, until tender and golden with caramelized edges.
- Remove from oven.
- Add herbs, spices, or a light drizzle of sweetness if using.
- Serve warm.
