- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk sugar and orange zest until fragrant.
- Add eggs, oil (or butter), orange juice, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients just until combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
