- Rinse the rice thoroughly drain.
- In the rice cooker cook 2 cups of pre-rinsed rice with 3.5 cups of water
- In a separate container mix the chopped parsley & minced garlic with the spices.
- When rice is ready mix with the spices, when done mixing add cooked chickpeas and mix again

- Blend herbs with a little broth or oil for an even green color throughout the rice
- Use cilantro, parsley, spinach, or a mix depending on flavor preference
- Rinse rice well to keep grains separate and fluffy
- Add a squeeze of lime or lemon at the end to brighten the flavor
- Great base for bowls; pairs well with beans, vegetables, or grilled tofu
