- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Brush cut sides of romaine with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place romaine cut side down on the grill.
- Grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly charred but still crisp.
- Remove from grill and place on a serving platter.
- Top with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
- Serve warm.
