A bright, versatile sauce you can make from your home-grown herbs.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves (or mix parsley, mint, or spinach)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp Pine nuts (sunflower or pumpkin work well)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Adjust with more oil or lemon to taste.
  3. Store in a jar up to 5 days.
